Philadelphia Weekend Weather Forecast

PHILADELPHIA – After Thursday evening storms swept through the Delaware Valley, residents can expect cooler temperatures and gusty winds on Friday.

The first day of spring brought with it some rain and thunderstorms, but the upcoming weekend promises sun and dry weather. Meteorologist Sue Serio from FOX 29 detailed the weekend forecast for Philadelphia in her latest update.

Friday began with temperatures in the 40s, but as the day progresses, conditions are expected to become sunny with blustery winds. Highs will reach the mid-50s, providing a refreshing feel after the storms.

Looking ahead to Saturday, milder temperatures are projected. The sunny skies will help temperatures climb back into the 60s. However, residents should brace for lower temperatures at night, as it is expected to drop into the 30s.

On Sunday, partly cloudy skies will prevail, but temperatures will remain on the cooler side, with highs only reaching around 50 degrees. The weekend wraps up with a noticeable chill as spring makes its presence felt.

As the new week begins on Monday, forecasts indicate the possibility of spring showers, with high temperatures expected to approach 60 degrees. Residents are encouraged to stay updated as conditions may change.
