Starbucks and Hello Kitty Launch Holiday Collection on Nov 6

SEATTLE, Wash. — Starbucks is partnering with Hello Kitty for a special holiday collection set to launch on November 6 at participating coffeehouses across the United States and Canada. This exclusive collection celebrates friendship with a range of adorable merchandise featuring the iconic character.
Hello Kitty, who was created by the Japanese company Sanrio® in 1974, has become a global icon, symbolizing cuteness and connection. Jill Koch, Senior Vice President of Brand Management and Marketing at Sanrio, remarked, “For more than 50 years, Hello Kitty has resonated across cultures and generations.”
Starbucks and Hello Kitty’s collaboration aims to bring back nostalgic vibes during the holiday season. Kap Pitarys, director of U.S. merchandise for Starbucks, highlighted the natural fit between the two brands, noting, “Both focus on nostalgia, human connection, and bringing people together.”
The collection will include a Hello Kitty plush dressed in a Starbucks green apron, as well as tumblers, mugs, and cold cups. “Whether you’re looking for a gift for a friend or a little something for yourself, this collection makes everyday moments feel a little more joyful,” Pitarys added.
Additionally, Starbucks will launch its holiday menu featuring returning favorites like the Peppermint Mocha and Eggnog Latte on the same day, promising an enjoyable holiday experience for customers. The Hello Kitty merchandise will be available while supplies last.
