Nhl Dallas Stars Vs Anaheim Ducks Game

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The NHL schedule heats up Tuesday with 14 games, including high-stakes matchups as teams jockey for playoff positioning. The Dallas Stars (34-17-1) will look to extend their winning streak to six games as they face the Anaheim Ducks (22-24-6) at Honda Center. The Stars are riding a wave of momentum, with Jason Robertson contributing eight points in his last five games.

Meanwhile, the Florida Panthers (32-19-3) visit the Washington Capitals (34-11-7) in a clash of Eastern Conference heavyweights. The Capitals, led by Alex Ovechkin, are chasing history as Ovechkin sits just 18 goals shy of breaking Wayne Gretzky’s all-time NHL goals record. Ovechkin scored his 877th career goal in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday.

In another marquee matchup, the Edmonton Oilers (32-16-4) face the St. Louis Blues (24-25-4) at Enterprise Center. Leon Draisaitl, the NHL’s leading goal scorer with 36 goals, will look to extend his three-game point streak. The Oilers have points in four of their last five games but are coming off back-to-back losses.

The Boston Bruins (26-22-6) host the Minnesota Wild (31-18-4) in a battle of teams looking to regain their footing. David Pastrnak, the NHL’s First Star for January, has been on fire with 24 points in 14 games. The Wild, however, are coming off a disappointing 6-0 loss to the Ottawa Senators.

Elsewhere, the Winnipeg Jets (37-14-3), the NHL’s top team, aim for their seventh straight win as they host the Carolina Hurricanes (32-17-4). The Jets’ Josh Morrissey scored the overtime winner in their last game against Washington, while the Hurricanes’ Seth Jarvis has four goals in his last five games.

In other action, the Toronto Maple Leafs (31-19-2) visit the Calgary Flames (26-19-7), and the Philadelphia Flyers (23-25-6) make their first-ever trip to face the Utah Hockey Club (21-22-9). The Flyers have been shut out in three consecutive games, while Utah looks to snap a five-game winless streak.

As the NHL season enters its critical stretch, Tuesday’s games promise to deliver high drama and pivotal moments in the race for the playoffs.
