Stars Go Bald and Unrecognizable for Halloween Roles
LOS ANGELES, California — Actors Jason Momoa and Jacob Elordi have stunned fans with dramatic transformations in new projects. Momoa, known for his long, flowing locks, has traded his signature hairstyle for a bald look in a recent advertising campaign.
As part of a holiday ad for Chime, Momoa transforms into various characters, including a bald bed salesman who features a horseshoe hair style. Sporting glasses and a checked gray suit, he captures the chaotic holiday spirit perfectly.
“We had a lot of fun creating the different characters and bringing the energy of the holidays to life,” Momoa said about the project. “At its core, the campaign reflects Chime’s mission to have financial tools work harder for people, and capturing that spirit on screen was a blast.”
While he often keeps his hair long, he surprised fans earlier in the year by shaving for the first time in six years. “I’m shaving this beast off—it’s time to make a change,” he joked. “Looks pretty good!”
Meanwhile, Elordi has also undergone a stunning makeover as he prepares for his role in Guillermo del Toro’s retelling of Frankenstein. The Australian actor unveiled a gothic appearance, complete with shaved eyebrows and jagged scars, in promotional images released by Netflix.
Elordi’s transformation is shocking, as he replaces his dark brown shaggy mullet with a clean-shaven style, allowing his long waves to shine. He donned a black lace-trimmed jacket and a furry brown coat for the photoshoot. After spending over 11 hours in the makeup chair, Elordi appeared almost unrecognizable.
“She was like, ‘I’m so tired of this and you look weird.’” Elordi joked about his dog Layla’s reaction to his Creature makeover during a television appearance.
