Statewide Alert Issued for Missing 81-Year-Old Woman

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – The Overland Park Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating Jerry McConnell, an 81-year-old woman who has been reported missing.
McConnell was last seen on May 14, 2025, in Harrisonville, Missouri, while she was driving to her home in Overland Park, Kansas. Authorities believe she may have been near Severy, Kansas, on the afternoon of May 15.
She is described as a white female, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds. McConnell has blue eyes and gray hair. She is believed to be driving a gray 2009 Honda Accord with the Texas license plate RFP836.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has issued a statewide Silver Alert for her disappearance. This type of alert is activated when an adult with a cognitive impairment goes missing.
