Arizona Weather Forecast November 2025

PHOENIX, Arizona — A cool evening is expected in the Valley, with temperatures dropping into the upper 50s overnight. Monday promises a pleasant fall day, with highs reaching the low 70s, but a chance of rain and thunderstorms looms, particularly after 8 p.m.

The National Weather Service projects a 60% chance of rain on Tuesday, marking it as a First Alert day. Rainfall is expected to continue overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, with a 40% chance on both nights. Highs during this period will remain in the mid to upper 60s.

By Thursday, temperatures are expected to drop to the low 60s, with highs remaining in the mid-60s on Friday. A new storm system may bring a 20% chance of rain on Friday. However, the weekend looks to be more favorable, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures close to 70 degrees.

In the high country, light flurries have reached elevations of 7,000 feet, although most snowfall is above 8,000 feet. The Arizona Snowbowl reported three inches of new snow in the past 24 hours, with more expected in the coming days. Areas above 7,000 feet could receive between 2 to 4 inches of snow from Monday night through Thursday.

Meanwhile, in Southern California, another storm system is set to arrive on Monday. Rain will begin around lunchtime and is expected to continue into Tuesday, bringing light to moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms. Forecasts predict up to an inch of rain, which might lead to flash flooding and mudslides due to the already saturated ground.

Residents are still recovering from the weekend storm that led to street flooding and minor rockfalls. Evacuation orders for burn scar areas in Los Angeles County were lifted over the weekend. Authorities continue to monitor conditions closely.

In Buena Park, a man was rescued from a flood channel after being swept away by fast-moving water. He was aided by a Good Samaritan until firefighters arrived, and he was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
