Stranger Things Season 5 Release Dates Announced

LOS ANGELES, CA — Fans of the hit series Stranger Things can finally mark their calendars. Netflix announced that the fifth and final season will be released in three parts, starting on November 26, 2025.
The Duffer Brothers, who created the show, previously hinted that Stranger Things would conclude after five seasons. In an open letter to fans in 2022, they expressed that the story’s arc was planned out from the beginning, and they are now approaching the grand finale.
The first volume will feature four episodes, premiering just before Thanksgiving in the U.S. The second volume will drop on Christmas Day, while the final episode is set to air on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2025. This will conclude a saga that has been a significant part of popular culture since its debut.
Production on Season 5 began in early 2024 and took nearly a year to complete due to previous delays caused by strike actions. The Duffer Brothers have confirmed that all main cast members, including Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) and Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), will return for this concluding chapter.
Details about individual episodes have been teased, but the season will consist of eight episodes in total, varying in length designed to keep viewers engaged. The Duffer Brothers intend to bring back the tone and feel of the earlier seasons while delivering an action-packed and emotionally charged conclusion.
As the narrative ties together after several cliffhangers from Season 4, fans are eager to see how the stories of beloved characters unfold. With the threat of Vecna lingering and Hawkins, Indiana in jeopardy, the stakes have never been higher.
Joseph Quinn, who portrayed Eddie Munson, has teased a potential return, leaving fans in speculation. The cast and crew of Stranger Things have hinted at epic storylines, shocking developments, and emotional farewells in what is sure to be a memorable final season.
