Sungrow and Recurrent Energy Lead Advances in Solar Energy with Significant Projects and Innovations

Sungrow, a leading global provider of solar and energy storage solutions, has recently made significant strides in the solar energy sector. The company has inked an agreement with Atlas Renewable Energy, the largest independently owned renewables power producer in Latin America, to exclusively utilize Sungrow’s liquid cooling storage system, PowerTitan, for the 200MW/880MWh BESS del Desierto plant. This project, once completed, will be a landmark in energy storage, highlighting Sungrow’s innovative technology in liquid-cooled storage systems.

In another notable development, Recurrent Energy announced that it has signed a $103 million tax credit facilitation agreement with Bank of America for its North Fork Solar Project. Located southwest of Oklahoma City, the 160 MW solar project is now operational, contributing to the growing solar energy capacity in the United States.

These advancements reflect the broader trend of rapid growth in the solar energy industry. Solar power has been the largest source of new U.S. generating capacity over the past 12 months, with companies like Sungrow and Recurrent Energy at the forefront of this expansion.
