Hd Supply Distribution Center Closure Tennessee

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) – An HD Supply distribution center in Davidson County will close permanently on January 9, 2026. This closure will result in 108 layoffs, as reported in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice filed with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD) on October 27.

Located at 50 Teledyne Place, the facility is part of a larger network operated by HD Supply, a subsidiary of The Home Depot. The company currently has over 100 distribution centers throughout the United States and Canada. The closure affects employees who are not represented by a union.

The Northern Middle Workforce Development Board has been notified and is coordinating services for the affected workers. A representative from TDLWD emphasized the need for support during this difficult transition, stating, “If you need additional information or have questions, please contact the Dislocated Worker Unit at (615) 253-6355.”

The WARN Act mandates that companies provide a 60-day notice for mass layoffs or plant closings. The decision to close the facility comes during a challenging economic climate, which has resulted in numerous job layoffs across various industries.

HD Supply, acquired by The Home Depot in late 2020, employs approximately 12,000 individuals. As they navigate the impending closure, the focus remains on ensuring the transition is as smooth as possible for the impacted employees.
