Surprise Cameo Shocks Rhea Seehorn in Pluribus Episode
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — In a surprising twist during the fifth episode of the sci-fi series Pluribus, actress Rhea Seehorn was caught off guard by a special voice cameo from her former co-star Patrick Fabian. The episode, titled “Got Milk,” premiered early on November 26, 2025, just in time for Thanksgiving.
Seehorn’s character, Carol, finds herself isolated after her attempts to drug Zosia, a member of the hive mind-bound Others, nearly leads to Zosia’s death. Left alone, Carol listens to a voicemail message from the Others, not knowing it would be delivered by Fabian, who portrayed lawyer Howard Hamlin in the acclaimed series Better Call Saul.
“They surprised me,” Seehorn told TV Guide. “I did not know about this.” Many on set kept the cameo a secret, hoping to capture Seehorn’s genuine reaction during the take. “They were hoping to get some kind of blooper take from me, but I was so terrified to mess up a take,” she explained.
Despite her shock, Seehorn maintained her composure during the scene. “I think if you got one of those psychologists that study micro facial muscle changes, I’m pretty sure you could see me go, ‘What? Patrick?’” she said. After the director called cut, Seehorn joyfully ran off, exclaiming, “That’s Patrick! You got Patrick!”
This marks the first time a main cast member from Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul has appeared in Pluribus—albeit via voice recording. Fans of both shows are hopeful for more crossovers in future episodes.
“Let’s face it, even if it wasn’t an Easter egg from Better Call Saul, Patrick Fabian does have one of the all-time great voices,” Seehorn shared. “I understand the decision.”
New episodes of Pluribus stream every Friday on Apple TV with the season finale scheduled for December 26.
