Taco Bell Introduces Crispy Chicken Nuggets to Its Menu Nationwide
Taco Bell, known for its Mexican-inspired fast food, is venturing into new territory with the introduction of crispy chicken nuggets to its menu. Starting December 19, 2024, customers can enjoy these nuggets, which are marinated in a zesty jalapeño buttermilk flavor and breaded with a blend of breadcrumbs and crunchy tortilla chips.
The chicken nuggets will be available in various packages, including a five-piece order with one dipping sauce for $3.99 and a 10-piece order with two dipping sauces for $6.99. Customers can also opt for a Crispy Chicken Nuggets Combo, which includes an order of regular Nacho Fries, nacho cheese sauce, and a large fountain drink, priced at $5.99 for the five-piece and $8.99 for the 10-piece combo.
In addition to these options, Taco Bell is offering a $10.49 deluxe meal that includes five nuggets, a dipping sauce, a Crunchy Taco, a Beef Chalupa, regular Nacho Fries, and a medium fountain drink.
The introduction of chicken nuggets is part of Taco Bell’s strategy to expand its poultry offerings, particularly to appeal to younger consumers who prefer chicken over red meat. This move follows the successful launch of the Cantina Chicken Menu earlier in the year, which contributed to a 5% increase in sales at stores open for at least a year.
The new nuggets will come with three dipping sauce options: the new Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce, the signature Bell Sauce, and the sweet and hot Jalapeño Honey Mustard Sauce.
