Terry Crews and Eddie Griffin Join Cast of New Crime-Thriller Motion

NEW ORLEANS, LA — Terry Crews, Eddie Griffin, Cymphonique Miller, and YouTube star Ed Bassmaster are the latest additions to the cast of the crime-thriller titled Motion. Filming is currently underway in New Orleans and is set to wrap in December.

The film also stars Tiffany Haddish, Bella Thorne, and entertainment mogul Percy “Master P” Miller, who is also involved as a writer and executive producer. Additional cast members include Romeo Miller, John D. Hickman, Ja’quan Monroe Henderson, Kedrick Brown, DoMonique Warren, and Donald Paul.

Haddish is producing through her She Ready Productions, with Tim McCann directing from a script co-written by Miller and Tim Ogletree. SSS Entertainment, led by Shaun Sanghani, is also producing and managing worldwide sales.

While specific plot details remain secret, Motion is described as “an ensemble fueled by colorful characters navigating a journey of wild crimes, set against the backdrop of the underground racing subculture in New Orleans.” The combination of Hollywood veterans, emerging talent, and athletes like NFL players Ray Ray McCloud and Trai Turner is expected to deliver a unique blend of action, drama, and humor.

The production is backed by financing from SSS Entertainment and SSS Film Capital, with additional executive production from Bannor Michael Macgregor through American Picture House Corporation, alongside partners Jeffrey Giles and Michael Lurie.
