Tesla Model Y Juniper Canada Deliveries

COQUITLAM, CanadaTesla has begun delivering the 2026 Model Y, known as the “Juniper,” in Canada. The automaker’s Coquitlam Service Center is currently filled to capacity with newly arrived units from Gigafactory Berlin. Photos shared by Tesla owners show the lot packed with numerous Model Ys, indicating that deliveries of the refreshed electric SUV have commenced across the country.

This launch marks a significant phase in bringing Giga Berlin-built Model Ys to the Canadian market. The first shipment from Germany arrived in September, and deliveries began in late October, with expectations for a substantial increase in the coming weeks. Tesla’s decision to import the Model Y from Berlin, instead of from factories in Texas or Shanghai, allows the company to avoid steep import tariffs: a 100% tariff on Chinese-made electric vehicles and a 25% tariff on U.S.-made vehicles.

By shifting production to Europe, Tesla can keep prices competitive, which is crucial for meeting the growing demand in Canada. “The influx of the 2026 Juniper Model Ys in Coquitlam reflects Tesla’s commitment to fulfilling increasing customer interest,” said a spokesperson for the company. As customers receive notifications about their upcoming Model Y deliveries, excitement builds around this new entry.

As the delivery momentum continues into the remainder of the year, Tesla’s strategy appears focused on maintaining a strong presence in the Canadian EV market while ensuring high-quality vehicles are available for customers.
