The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) hall tickets for the year 2024 have been officially released by the state’s education department. Candidates who have registered for the examination can now download their hall tickets directly from the official APTET website, aptet.apcfss.in, which has been made available since Saturday night.

The AP TET written examinations are scheduled to take place from October 3rd to October 20th, 2024. It is imperative for candidates appearing for the exam to download their hall tickets in advance to avoid any last-minute issues. The hall tickets can be downloaded by selecting the “AP TET Hall Ticket (July) 2024” option on the website, and accessing it with the candidate’s ID, date of birth, and verification code.

The downloaded hall tickets should be kept safely for future reference as they are crucial for gaining entry into the examination centers. The test is to be conducted online using a computer-based method over a span of nearly 18 days across various centers, with two sessions held each day. The first session will run from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second session will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

For this year’s AP TET, a significant number of 427,300 candidates have applied. Among them, 182,609 candidates have registered for Paper 1A in the Secondary Grade Teacher category, and 2,662 candidates for Paper 1B, which caters to special education. Additionally, 64,036 applicants have registered for Paper 2A in languages, while 104,788 candidates have applied for Mathematics and Science.

The AP Education Department has announced that the primary key for the examination results will be available from October 4, with candidates having the opportunity to raise any objections from October 5. The final key is expected to be released on October 27, and the results of the AP TET 2024 are anticipated to be declared on November 2.

It is noted that to qualify, OC category candidates need to score at least 60%, BC candidates 50%, and ST, SC, PH, and Ex-Servicemen should secure 40%. Qualified candidates may then be eligible to participate in the District Selection Committee (DSC) exams, where the highest score is considered. Candidates can retake the TET exam to improve their scores as needed.
