Texas Lottery Results: Big Jackpots Roll Over After No Big Wins

AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Lottery revealed the results for its multiple draw games on March 11, 2025, with substantial jackpots still unclaimed. Players hoping to win big found themselves without lucky numbers, leading to escalating jackpot amounts across several games.
The Powerball drawing, held on March 7, yielded no grand prize winner, leaving the jackpot at an impressive $320 million, with a cash option of $150.2 million. The winning numbers were 8, 20, 48, 58, 60, and the Mega Ball was 7, while the Megaplier reached 3X.
In addition, the Mega Millions jackpot has also increased, growing to an estimated $256 million with a cash option of $119.5 million. Recent results showed that a ticket sold in Washington matched five numbers to win $1 million, and another in Virginia netted $3 million using the Megaplier.
“This is a great opportunity for players to join in the excitement,” said Texas Lottery spokesperson Mark Jones. “With the jackpot continuing to rise, we are urging everyone to try their luck and dream big.”
For players unfamiliar with the game, a Mega Millions ticket costs $2, while adding the Megaplier for an additional $1 can exponentially boost winnings outside of the jackpot. Drawings are conducted bi-weekly, every Tuesday and Friday at 10 p.m. CT.
Texas players are particularly enthusiastic about these jackpots, as historical records indicate the potential for life-changing payouts. The largest Mega Millions jackpot occurred in August 2023, when $1.58 billion was claimed by a ticket purchased in Florida. Other notable payouts from 2025 include a win of $1.22 billion in California.
Overall, the stakes are higher than ever, and the excitement is palpable among Texas Lottery participants. As jackpot amounts grow, more players are expected to try their luck, contributing to a thrilling atmosphere surrounding upcoming drawings.
