Melonie Ballenger Missing Texas

Melonie Ballenger, a 46-year-old mother from Wylie, Texas, has been missing since Sunday, November 3, 2024. According to the Wylie Police Department, Melonie was last seen at her residence around 10 p.m. on Sunday night.

Her husband, Daniel Ballenger, reported her missing at 6:35 a.m. on Monday, November 4, after waking up to find her gone. Daniel stated that Melonie left without her phone, car, wallet, money, or necessary medication, which has heightened concerns given her scheduled heart surgery and her feeling unwell on the day she disappeared.

The family, including their daughters, have been actively searching for Melonie but have not been able to locate her. The Wylie Police Department has intensified the search efforts, scouring wooded areas, ponds, and neighborhoods near the family’s home. Despite these efforts, Melonie remains missing.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued a Coordinated Law Enforcement Adult Rescue (CLEAR) Alert, and authorities are continuing to search various locations and follow up on tips. Residents are being asked to review their surveillance video for any sightings of Melonie.

Daniel Ballenger has spoken out, expressing his love and concern for his wife. “I love her. I hope she’s safe,” he said, adding that their daughters are missing her and the family just wants her back. He urged Melonie to return home, saying, “Please come home”.

The Wylie Police Department has thanked the community for their support but has not requested any public assistance in the search at this time. Anyone with information on Melonie’s whereabouts is asked to contact the police at 972-429-8014).
