Thieves Drink Wine During St. Tropez Home Invasion

Saint-Tropez, France — In a shocking incident on June 15, four armed robbers invaded the home of reality TV stars Robert and Carmen Geiss, causing extensive damage with an estimated loss of €200,000. The couple revealed details about the harrowing experience in an exclusive interview.
Notably, one of the thieves helped himself to a bottle of Rosé wine from the Geiss family’s private reserve during the attack. “This bottle here was drunk by one of the idiots,” Robert Geiss remarked, expressing disbelief over the audacity of the criminals. Video footage captured the moment the thief returned the empty bottle to the fridge.
The intruders not only stole cash and jewelry but also displayed reckless behavior, according to the Geiss family. “There was a strong smell of alcohol from the perpetrators,” said Robert. “In my view, they were not professionals at all.”
Carmen Geiss sustained a knife injury during the robbery, while Robert suffered a broken rib from a kick by one of the attackers. Fortunately, their daughters were not home at the time of the incident.
The Geiss couple plans to release more footage from the home security cameras on June 18, as they cope with the trauma of the invasion and consider leaving their Saint-Tropez residence.
