Three Kings Day Celebrations Bring Joy to Tampa and Chicago

TAMPA, Fla. – On January 6, communities in Tampa and Chicago celebrated Three Kings Day, a holiday commemorating the biblical story of the three wise men visiting baby Jesus with gifts. In Tampa, Florida State Rep. Susan Valdes hosted a special backpack and toy giveaway for 150 children at Zoo Tampa, while Chicago held its annual Three Kings Parade on the Northwest Side.

Rep. Valdes, who recently announced her switch from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party, emphasized the importance of education during the event.
