TikTok Star Bella ‘Bella Brave’ Thomson Faces Serious Lung Infection, Fans Rally Support

TikTok sensation Bella ‘Bella Brave’ Thomson, known for openly sharing her medical journey, is currently battling a severe lung infection that has landed her in the SickKids Hospital in Toronto.

Updating concerned followers, Bella’s mother, Kyla, revealed that there has been a rapid deterioration in Bella’s lung condition, resembling fibrosis, possibly triggered by an immune response.

Bella is currently in a medically induced coma, with Kyla noting that despite the situation, stability represents an improvement at this stage.

Bella was born with a combination of three rare diseases that have left her without an immune system. In late 2023, she underwent a life-saving bowel transplant and spent four months recuperating in the hospital.

This recent health battle follows a March incident that led to Bella’s hospitalization in Saskatoon.

Expressing her communication with Bella, Kyla mentioned playing music, reading cards, letters, and messages sent by well-wishers, who have flooded her with over 15,000 supportive comments.

Among these responses, messages of solidarity and strength poured in, emphasizing Bella’s resilience and the family’s unwavering spirit.

Thanking the community for their ongoing support, Kyla urged everyone to keep Bella in their thoughts, specifically hoping to halt the lung fibrosis attack and allow for healing and recovery.

Bella and Kyla have amassed a substantial following on TikTok, with over 7 million followers, and nearly 340,000 on Instagram, by sharing Bella’s journey, which includes her battle with conditions like Hirschsprung’s disease.
