The Golden Titans displayed a dominant performance against the Cronulla Sharks in a thrilling showdown at Coffs Harbour as they clinched a 20-16 victory. The Titans asserted their dominance early on, capitalizing on a lacklustre start by the Sharks.

Kieran Foran‘s exceptional show-and-go maneuver outwitted the Sharks’ defense, leading to the first points of the game. Siosifa Talakai’s sin-binning after a shoulder charge on Sam Verrills further fueled the Titans’ momentum, allowing them to capitalize on the one-man advantage.

Expert James Graham highlighted the Sharks’ slow start, emphasizing their struggle to gain possession in the initial stages of the game. The Titans capitalized on their opportunities, with Foran setting up Chris Randall beautifully to extend their lead.

Braydon Trindall finally put the Sharks on the board after 47 minutes with a well-executed play involving Nicho Hynes and Briton Nikora. However, the Titans swiftly responded, with Keenan Palasia scoring off a brilliant pass from Verrills to further solidify their lead.

Despite a try by Daniel Atkinson keeping the Sharks in contention, the Titans’ resilient defense ensured they secured the victory as the siren sounded, much to the relief of coach Des Hasler.
