TOLEDO, Ohio – Aviation fans are excited as the Toledo Air Show returns this weekend. The two-day event will take place on Saturday and Sunday at the Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport, featuring thrilling aerial performances and runway displays.
The show will include exciting acts from the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the 180th Fighter Wing. Gates open at 9 a.m., with main performances scheduled to begin at noon. Military members and first responders in uniform can enjoy the event for free, along with children aged 3 and under.
On Friday, Toledo Fire and Rescue Chief Allison Armstrong flew with the Thunderbirds, marking a special moment for both the Chief and the team. This visit aimed to spread joy and inspiration to children facing health challenges.
The Thunderbirds conducted rehearsal flights over Toledo on Friday morning, showcasing their skills in the sky. During this time, members of the 180th Fighter Wing provided a unique experience for local news anchor James, who was eager to share his day in the skies.
As the show approaches, families and aviation enthusiasts are looking forward to an exciting weekend filled with aerial displays and community spirit.
