Toledo Shooting Leaves One Dead, Another Injured
TOLEDO, Ohio — A shooting at the Boulder Creek Apartments on Monday night left one man dead and another injured, according to Toledo Police. Officers responded to a shots fired call around 9:30 p.m. on January 6 at the complex located near Arlington Avenue and South Byrne Road.
Upon arrival, police pulled over a vehicle matching the description of one seen leaving the scene. Inside, they found three individuals, including a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his arm. He was transported to the University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC) and is expected to survive.
During a search of the parking lot, officers discovered 18-year-old Derrick Rogers, who had been shot. Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made, and police have not identified any suspects.
