Tornado Warning Issued for Tallahassee Region Amid Severe Weather Threat

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tornado Warning has been issued for Leon and Gadsden counties until 12:15 PM Monday, as severe weather is actively affecting the region.

In addition to the tornado warning, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Gadsden, Grady, Leon, and Thomas counties until 12:45 PM Monday. Franklin and Wakulla counties are also under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 1 PM.

Meteorologist Josh Green reported on the live stream that conditions conducive to severe weather are present, urging local residents to stay alert. According to the National Weather Service, these warnings indicate ongoing severe weather activity and advise residents to seek shelter.

“Today’s severe weather conditions are particularly dangerous, and we urge everyone to pay close attention to the warnings,” said Green. “It’s crucial to stay updated and take immediate precautions.”
