JEFFERSON PARISH, La. — A Tornado Warning is currently in effect for Jefferson Parish until 6:45 a.m. CDT, as severe weather continues to affect the region.

WDSU is closely monitoring the situation, providing live coverage of the developing storms. Earlier warnings had also been issued for Terrebonne, Lafourche, Washington, St. Tammany, and St. Charles parishes. However, those warnings have since expired.

As of now, there have been no reports of damage resulting from the storms in any of the affected areas. Residents are urged to stay cautious and follow local updates.
