As Halloween approaches, various communities and organizations across the United States are gearing up for trick-or-treating and other festive events. Here are some of the notable trick-or-treat schedules and events for 2024.

In central Iowa, several cities have set specific times for trick-or-treating. For instance, Bondurant, Dallas Center, and Dexter will have trick-or-treating from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, October 26. Granger and Redfield will observe the tradition from 5-7 p.m. on the same day.

In Louisiana, Louisiana State University of Alexandria (LSUA) is hosting its 18th annual Trick or Treat Street celebration on Thursday, October 26, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. This event, which is a fundraiser for LSUA student organizations, will feature over 40 organizations, clubs, and departments giving out candy and other Halloween goodies along the campus streets.

In San Antonio, Texas, there are numerous Halloween events planned. For example, the San Antonio Zoo will offer free trick-or-treating and other fall festivities. SeaWorld San Antonio is hosting a Halloween Spooktacular with daytime activities, and the Boerne Boo fall festival will include trick-or-treating, music, and other family-friendly activities.

Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, is hosting its first-ever Halloween Festival on Sunday, October 27, from 12-4 p.m. The event will feature trick-or-treat stations, costume parades, and various ballpark activities such as running the bases and playing Wiffle ball. Guests are encouraged to dress in their Halloween costumes and bring their own trick-or-treat bags.
