Trisha Yearwood Celebrates 25th Anniversary as Grand Ole Opry Member
Trisha Yearwood marked a significant milestone in her career by celebrating her 25th anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry. The celebration took place on the night of November 2, 2024, and featured a special performance by Yearwood along with an all-female cast of her close friends and fellow artists.
The evening’s lineup included Suzy Bogguss, Terri Clark, and Pam Tillis, all of whom joined Yearwood on stage for a memorable night of music. During a preshow press conference, Yearwood expressed her deep appreciation for being part of the Opry family. “This is a family. To be a member you have to understand what came before you and to also have a love and appreciation of what came before you,” she said.
Yearwood’s induction into the Grand Ole Opry occurred on March 13, 1999, when she was welcomed by the legendary Opry member Porter Wagoner, who praised her by saying, “She’s the best I’ve ever heard.” The anniversary celebration highlighted the enduring legacy and camaraderie of the Opry community.
Fans who missed the live event will have the opportunity to watch the highlights of Yearwood’s 25th Anniversary celebration on Saturday, March 30, as part of Opry Live. The broadcast will be available on the Opry Facebook and YouTube channels, as well as through the Circle Now app and Circle Country digital streaming partners.
