Two Critically Injured in Indianapolis Shooting

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana — Two people were critically injured in a shooting Friday afternoon outside a strip mall in Indianapolis, according to police. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to reports of shots fired around 3:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of East Raymond Street, close to Interstate 65.
Officers arrived on the scene and found a man and a woman who had both been shot. Medics transported the victims to a local hospital, where they are currently listed in critical condition.
Police have not released information regarding potential suspects or motives related to the shooting. The location, near a Dollar Tree store, also includes other retailers and a dental office, but authorities did not disclose details about the circumstances leading to the gunfire.
