Two Injured in Arden-Arcade Stabbing Investigation

ARDEN-ARCADE, Calif. — Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a stabbing incident that left two individuals injured on Thursday afternoon, March 6, 2025. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. near an apartment complex on Manzanita Avenue close to Locust Avenue.
According to the sheriff’s department, both victims were taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries. The two individuals, a man and a woman, are believed to be in a romantic relationship, but details surrounding the circumstances of the stabbing are still being confirmed.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after receiving initial reports, and crime scene tape was visible while investigators worked to gather information. Aerial coverage from KCRA 3 showed the responding units at the Centennial Apartments on Manzanita Avenue.
Witnesses who were in the vicinity reported hearing a commotion before the police arrived. One resident who lives nearby said, “It’s shocking to see something like this happen so close to home. We hope both victims recover quickly.”
