Two Teenage Boys Fatally Stabbed In Bristol Attack

Two teenage boys tragically lost their lives in a horrifying stabbing attack in Bristol on Saturday. The victims have been identified as Max Dixon, 16, and Mason Rist, 15. The incident occurred in the Knowle West area around 11:20pm. Both boys were rushed to separate hospitals but succumbed to their injuries.

Immediately after the incident, the attackers fled the scene in a car. The Avon and Somerset Police have since launched a murder investigation and have arrested a 44-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy, who remain in custody. It is unclear at this point whether the attackers and victims were known to each other.

The local community is in deep mourning over the loss of their beloved youngsters. Mason’s sister, Kayleigh, expressed her heartbreak in a touching tribute on Facebook. She described Mason as a beautiful and kind soul, taken away too soon. A vigil took place at the scene of the attack, where community members lit candles and laid flowers for Max and Mason.

Max’s football coach, Scott Alden, also paid tribute, remembering Max as a talented footballer who brought joy to everyone he knew. The news of this tragedy has left the community devastated.

The police have appealed for witnesses who were on a bus on Ilminster Avenue, the location of the stabbings, at the time of the incident. They want to speak with these passengers to gather any helpful information. The officers on the case are working tirelessly to identify additional suspects believed to be involved.

Supt Mark Runacres, the Bristol Commander, expressed frustration at such a horrific crime occurring in their community. He is determined to support the community and ensure justice is brought to those responsible. In order to assist and update the families, specialist family liaison officers have been assigned.

As the investigation continues, a meeting will be held to allow community members to engage with the police and local council. Meanwhile, Superintendent Runacres urged the public to refrain from speculating or sharing images related to the incident, as it may hinder future proceedings or cause further distress to the affected families.
