Tyler Perry Mansion Chattahoochee Hills

The former residence of renowned media mogul Tyler Perry, a sprawling estate in Atlanta‘s Chattahoochee Hills neighborhood, is once again on the real estate market. This property, which Perry originally built in 2003, is currently listed at $3.9 million. The mansion was famously featured in Perry’s 2005 film, “Diary of a Mad Black Woman,” among other cinematic productions.

Spanning 11 acres, the estate comprises an impressive 16,000 square feet. It boasts six bedrooms and six full bathrooms, along with luxurious amenities such as an infinity pool, a private gym, a tennis court, and a state-of-the-art theater. The mansion, once at the center of Atlanta’s entertainment scene, reflects Tyler Perry’s vision and specifications during his ownership, which lasted 15 years.

Hubert Tate, the lead listing advisor with Keller Williams Realty Buckhead, remarked on the listing, “This property is a rare opportunity for anyone looking to own a piece of Atlanta’s rich entertainment history. The estate’s grandeur, combined with its tranquil surroundings, offers the perfect retreat for those seeking privacy and exclusivity, yet remaining close to major film studios and cultural destinations like Serenbe.”

The property was acquired by a private owner in 2023 through an auction. Now, in addition to purchasing the house, prospective buyers have the chance to acquire a vintage 1973 Rolls Royce and a 1975 Ferrari, adding further allure to the listing. The house’s market history includes previous listings exceeding $5 million, but due to current market conditions and improved consumer confidence, expectations are high for a swift sale at the current price.

Tate expressed optimism regarding the property’s market potential, stating, “Because of market conditions and consumer confidence, we feel like this will be a great time to get this property sold.” This sentiment aligns with the upscale features and strategic location of the mansion, now poised to capture renewed interest from potential buyers.
