Tyler Reddick Treats Team to Barbecue Dinner Ahead of Würth 400

FORT WORTH, Texas — As the NASCAR Cup Series arrived at Texas Motor Speedway, Tyler Reddick, driving the No. 45 Toyota for 23XI Racing, kicked off the race weekend with an unexpected team-building event. The night before the Würth 400, Reddick surprised his crew with dinner at Terry Black’s Barbecue, one of Fort Worth’s popular dining spots.
The evening meal provided the No. 45 team with a chance to unwind and bond before the big race. Diners enjoyed an array of classic Texas barbecue, including brisket and ribs, in a lively, rustic atmosphere. Reddick’s gesture highlights the team’s emphasis on fostering strong relationships both on and off the track.
“45 team dinner tonight at @TerryBlacks_BBQ! Thanks for having us! Ready to hit the track tomorrow!” Reddick shared on X, alongside a photo featuring his crew cheerfully gathered around tables filled with food.
The dinner was just one of the enjoyable activities planned by Reddick for his team. Earlier that day, he and his teammate, Bubba Wallace, participated in a paintball event, allowing them to loosen up and strengthen their camaraderie during the long NASCAR season.
“It’s all about the people at 23XI Racing,” Reddick said regarding the supportive atmosphere within the team. “Since joining in 2023, I’ve seen how our open-minded approach and strong leadership have led to quick success.” This season, both Reddick and Wallace have each secured four top-10 finishes, placing them in a strong position for the playoffs despite not yet having a win.
Rivalry adds to their teamwork as well, with Wallace qualifying ahead of Reddick in ninth position compared to Reddick’s seventeenth. This friendly competition keeps pushing both drivers to improve. In just over three years, 23XI Racing has celebrated five Cup Series victories, and the team is continuing to grow, now featuring a third car for Riley Herbst in the No. 35 Toyota.
As the crew prepared for the challenges ahead at Texas Motor Speedway, Reddick’s barbecue dinner reminded everyone that they are more than just coworkers; they are a family aiming for a common goal.
