United Parks & Resorts Offers Free Admission to First Responders and Lineworkers
FLORIDA — First responders and lineworkers are being offered free admission to several popular theme parks as a token of appreciation, United Parks & Resorts announced on Thursday. The offer comes in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, which has affected several communities in Florida.
Under this initiative, eligible individuals can receive up to two complimentary tickets to any park owned by United Parks & Resorts. The parks included in this offer span locations in Orlando and Tampa, such as SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, as well as Aquatica Orlando and Adventure Island Tampa Bay.
According to the company, first responders can redeem their tickets online from now until October 31. These tickets are valid for a one-time use at the participating parks. For lineworkers, the tickets are being distributed directly through utility companies. Those lineworkers from out of state can use their tickets at the park closest to them, including locations in San Antonio, San Diego, Williamsburg, Philadelphia, and more.
The tickets offered to both first responders and lineworkers will be valid until December 31, allowing plenty of time for recipients to enjoy a day of entertainment. “Our hearts go out to the Florida communities that are continuing to recover after being battered by two large storms back-to-back. We are incredibly grateful for the first responders and lineworkers who are out there working to ensure we can return to normal as quickly and safely as possible,” said Marc Swanson, CEO of United Parks & Resorts, in a statement. “As a token of our immense gratitude, we are proud to welcome first responders and lineworkers to our parks to enjoy a well-deserved day of entertainment and fun.”
