Verizon Set to Enhance Unlimited Ultimate Plan with Major Upgrades

DALLAS, Texas — Verizon Wireless is reportedly preparing to enhance its Unlimited Ultimate plan, with significant upgrades expected as soon as April 17, 2023. These improvements aim to provide customers with more data and calling features for international use.

According to insider reports and a screenshot obtained by analysts, the wireless provider intends to offer unlimited mobile hotspot capabilities and introduce international calling features to the plan. Currently, the Unlimited Ultimate plan provides 60GB of mobile hotspot data and includes only text messaging to over 200 countries, without voice calling options internationally.

If the upgrade to unlimited hotspot is confirmed, it would represent a substantial enhancement to the current offering. There are rumors suggesting that while the hotspot data may be termed ‘unlimited,’ it could still be capped at 200GB before experiencing throttling, a practice common among data service providers to manage network load.

The addition of international calling would be a notable benefit for customers with contacts outside of Canada and Mexico, where Verizon’s current offerings are limited.
