Vinesh Phogat Set for Final Showdown at Paris 2024 Olympics

Vinesh has made history by being the first Indian woman to reach the wrestling finals in the Olympics. India’s wrestling history includes a total of seven medals, consisting of two silvers and five bronzes. Notably, Sakshi Malik made history as the first Indian woman to win an Olympic medal with her bronze at Rio 2016.
