A fan created chaos at the Saudi Super Cup final by assaulting an Al-Ittihad player with a whip after the match in Abu Dhabi. The incident occurred following Al-Hilal‘s decisive 4-1 victory over Al-Ittihad at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium.

The alarming footage captured the violent confrontation between the fan and Al-Ittihad striker Abderrazak Hamdallah. After missing a penalty but later scoring, Hamdallah tossed water at the fan, inciting a physical response.

The video shows the fan brandishing a long whip and striking Hamdallah on his back twice during the altercation. Despite the aggression, the player, aged 33, seemed uninjured in the scuffle.

As tensions heightened, teammates intervened to restrain the fan while the situation escalated. Eventually, the fan was led away by another spectator and a security officer, avoiding immediate detention remarkably.

Amidst the commotion, a young spectator in a wheelchair narrowly avoided being caught up in the altercation, highlighting the severity of the situation.
