Virgin Atlantic Introduces Second Daily Flight from London to Mumbai and Implements Dynamic Pricing
Virgin Atlantic has announced the launch of a second daily flight from London to Mumbai, enhancing its connectivity between the UK and India. This new service is part of the airline’s efforts to expand its global network and provide more convenient travel options for passengers.
In addition to the new flight route, Virgin Atlantic has also introduced a new dynamic pricing model for its Flying Club loyalty program. Effective October 30, 2024, the airline will adopt a more flexible pricing system, which includes the introduction of Saver seats and the availability of all seats for redemption. This change aims to offer more redemption options, although it may result in increased rates for peak travel periods.
The airline has also been recognized for its commitment to health and safety, having been awarded Diamond status by APEX and Simpliflying. This highest standard is a testament to Virgin Atlantic’s initiatives such as complimentary Covid-19 insurance, pre-flight testing, and efforts to create a safe customer journey throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club members will continue to benefit from partnerships with other airlines, including SkyTeam partners and airlines like Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand, and Virgin Australia. Members can enjoy benefits such as priority check-in, extra baggage, and lounge access when flying with these partner airlines.
