Walmart Slashes AirPods Pro 2 Price to Record Low for Black Friday
Walmart, Bentonville, AR – Walmart has launched early Black Friday deals, significantly discounting the Apple AirPods Pro 2 to a record-low price of $139. This discount represents a full $110 off the retail price of $249, making it more affordable than Amazon‘s Prime Day pricing.
The sale commenced on Friday, November 14, 2025, and runs through November 16, providing shoppers a brief window to take advantage of this offer. The current pricing position of $139 makes the previous-generation AirPods just $10 above the entry-level AirPods 4, which do not feature noise cancellation.
Industry analysts note that Walmart is setting the tone for this year’s Black Friday shopping season. The aggressive pricing for the AirPods Pro 2 is a rare move within Apple’s usually rigid pricing structure, where significant discounts on current-generation products are uncommon.
The AirPods Pro 2, which launched earlier this year, boasts the advanced H2 chip for enhanced audio performance while delivering top-tier active noise cancellation. It also includes a transparency mode that allows for outside sounds, offering features valuable for urban commuters.
Battery life is robust, offering six hours with active noise cancellation enabled, and extending to a total of 30 hours with the included MagSafe charging case. The earbuds also come with an IP54 rating, providing some dust and water resistance, although slightly lower than the Pro 3’s IP57 rating.
In addition to Walmart’s pricing, other retailers, including Amazon, have offered lower prices but have not yet matched Walmart’s deal. This shift in pricing strategy comes as Apple faces increased competition in the audio segment from brands like Sony and Bose.
For shoppers hesitating, the AirPods Pro 2 offer substantial performance at nearly half the price of newer models, making this deal very compelling. Retail experts suggest that shoppers should act quickly as early discounts might not be repeated.
