Oklahoma City Wall Cloud June 2025

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — A weakly rotating wall cloud was spotted in southeast Oklahoma City on Tuesday afternoon, June 3, 2025. Storm chaser Tom Pastrano reported the phenomenon while monitoring the area’s weather patterns.

Pastrano noted the presence of rising scud clouds and northwest winds feeding into the wall cloud’s base, indicating some atmospheric rotation. However, he emphasized that the feature appeared weak and was unlikely to develop into a tornado.

As thunderstorms continued to move across central Oklahoma, no tornado warnings had been issued for the area as of Tuesday afternoon. Meteorologists advised residents to stay aware of the changing weather conditions.

In related storm activity, a wall cloud near Choctaw was also under close scrutiny. Pastrano mentioned that another cloud formation appeared to start rotating after the previous wall cloud had stopped.

As of now, no tornado has been confirmed in the region, and weather conditions are being monitored closely.
