East Texas Weather Storms March 2025

East Texas, March 19, 2025 – Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are forecasted for East Texas this weekend, potentially bringing small hail and gusty winds. The rain is expected to diminish around midday, leading to cloudy skies and afternoon breezes.

The National Weather Service reports that temperatures will reach the middle 70s during the day, with Deep East Texas possibly experiencing even warmer conditions. As night falls, temperatures could drop into the 40s.

On Sunday, sunshine is anticipated with highs near 70 degrees. However, meteorologists warn that another cold front could bring a slight chance for rain midweek.

“This is typical spring weather for East Texas,” said meteorologist John Smith from the National Weather Service. “We always see these fluctuations in temperature and the potential for storms during this time of year.”

A warming trend is expected to begin next week, with temperatures returning to the upper 70s by Monday.

Weather alerts also apply to other regions, including Buffalo, New York, where increasing clouds and winds will lead to possible thundershowers Saturday morning through early afternoon. Gusts may reach up to 35 miles per hour, making for potentially blustery conditions throughout the weekend.

Residents in both areas are advised to stay aware of weather updates as conditions can change rapidly.
