West Palm Beach Weather Update: Storms May Bring Lightning

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — While there is no severe weather risk reported today, residents are advised to exercise caution outdoors as some storms may produce lightning.
Forecasts indicate afternoon highs will reach the mid-80s, with overnight lows settling in the upper 70s. This week’s weather should remain consistent with warm temperatures.
According to meteorologists, the deep tropical moisture and high chances for rain are expected to begin decreasing by Thursday. Following this trend, more sunshine is likely to return over the weekend. Isolated afternoon storms are predicted for Friday and Saturday, with rain chances dropping to 30%.
The National Hurricane Center is closely monitoring a tropical disturbance as it begins to move north into the Atlantic Ocean. Currently, the system holds only a 10% chance of developing over the next week.
If this low-pressure system remains offshore, it could gradually develop subtropical or tropical characteristics as it moves northeast away from Florida later in the week.
