Cash4life Lottery Ticket Westmoreland County

LATROBE, Pa. — A lottery ticket purchased at the Shop 'n Save in Latrobe has secured a remarkable prize of $1,000 a week for life or a one-time cash payout of $1 million. The winning ticket for the Cash4Life drawing on Wednesday matched all five main numbers drawn: 13, 21, 29, 38, and 57, though it did not match the Cash Ball (2).

The Pennsylvania Lottery confirmed the win and noted that the ticket holder has one year from the drawing date to claim the prize. This latest win marks the 18th million-dollar prize awarded in Cash4Life since Pennsylvania joined the multi-state lottery game in 2015.

“We encourage all players to check their tickets carefully,” a lottery spokesperson said. “With over 4,400 tickets sold statewide also winning smaller prizes, it’s worth looking every time.”

Along with the winner’s good fortune, the Shop ‘n Save store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Since the launch of the Cash4Life game in Pennsylvania, sales have surpassed $253 million, with over $93 million allocated to supporting older residents, according to state officials.

The popularity of Cash4Life continues to grow, with neighboring states like New York, New Jersey, and Maryland also participating in the game. Lottery officials remind players to play responsibly and ensure they check their tickets following each draw.

The Cash4Life game offers a choice between receiving $1,000 a week for life, which is valued at approximately $52,000 annually, or a lump-sum cash option of $1 million, minus taxes. Players find this unique lottery format appealing as it provides a steady income over a lifetime.
