No Winner for Saturday’s $364 Million Powerball Jackpot; Key Results and Prizes
Saturday‘s Powerball drawing, which offered a staggering $364 million jackpot, did not yield a winner who matched all the numbers. The winning numbers for the October 12 drawing were 5, 14, 20, 41, and 57, with the Powerball being 6 and a Power Play multiplier of 3X.
In the previous drawing on Wednesday, no one claimed the $337 million jackpot either. However, two second-prize tickets were sold, one in Clifton Heights, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, worth $1 million, and another in California valued at $321,838. It’s noteworthy that lottery prizes in California can fluctuate based on ticket sales and the number of winners, unlike the fixed second prizes in other states.
In New Jersey, the highest payout for any ticket from the Wednesday drawing was $300. The numbers drawn for that round were different, with the Powerball being 10 and a Power Play of 3X. Additionally, there were no winners for the $10 million Double Play jackpot on Wednesday.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are extremely low, standing at 1 in 292,201,338. A player purchasing a $2 ticket has roughly a 1 in 11,688,054 chance to match five numbers and secure at least $1 million. The odds for winning a third-tier prize of at least $50,000 are 1 in 913,129.
Powerball drawings occur every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday across 45 states, along with the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
