Winter Weather Advisory Pennsylvania Crash

BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania — A winter weather advisory remains in effect across Carbon and Monroe counties until 10 a.m. EST today due to hazardous mixed precipitation. Forecasters predict additional ice accumulations could reach up to one-tenth of an inch, creating slippery road conditions that may significantly affect the Thursday morning commute.

The advisory has prompted state officials to urge drivers to slow down and exercise caution while traveling. Motorists can find the latest road conditions by calling 511 for updates in their respective areas.

In relation to the deteriorating weather conditions, a crash was reported this morning in Milford Township, Bucks County. Pennsylvania State Trooper Branosky indicated that the accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of John Fries Highway and Klines Mill Road, involving three vehicles.

The collision was described as a head-on crash. Emergency Medical Services transported one driver to Saint Luke’s Hospital, while a second driver sustained injuries but was treated at the scene. The third driver emerged unscathed, according to Trooper Branosky. Fortunately, the scene has since been cleared.

As road conditions continue to worsen, authorities advise all drivers to be vigilant and prepared for potential further accidents caused by the icy conditions.

<p"This is a developing situation," Trooper Branosky noted. "More information will be updated as it becomes available." The public’s safety remains a priority as local agencies monitor the situation closely.
