Wwe Crown Jewel Perth Wrestling Event

PERTH, Australia — WWE Crown Jewel will take place this Saturday, Oct. 11, at 8 a.m. ET from the RAC Arena in Perth. This premium live event will stream live on the ESPN App in the U.S., marking a significant shift from previous years, where the event was held in Saudi Arabia.

This year’s showcase features championship matches for both men and women, with reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes facing World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins for the men’s title. Rhodes, who won the inaugural Crown Jewel Championship last year, is aiming for his second consecutive title.

In a highly anticipated women’s match, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will compete against Stephanie Vaquer, the new Women’s World Champion. Vaquer recently celebrated her championship win at Wrestlepalooza, defeating Iyo Sky.

Rhodes and Rollins’ rivalry dates back to WrestleMania 38, where Rhodes returned as a surprise opponent. They have fought three times since, with Rhodes winning each match. Rollins, seeing this as a crucial battle, expressed the stakes during a recent episode of “Raw,” suggesting the loss could jeopardize his standing in The Vision, his current faction.

The event will also feature Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky taking on The Kabuki Warriors, Asuka and Kairi Sane. This match carries additional emotional weight as Sky and her former stablemates face off, potentially leading to a dramatic encounter.

Another match of interest is the Australian Street Fight between Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed, a nod to Reed’s roots in Australia. The match highlights Reed’s recent antics, where he playfully claims the title of ‘Tribal Thief’ after stealing Reigns’ sneakers.

John Cena will also return to the ring against AJ Styles in what promises to be an exhilarating matchup. This is part of Cena’s farewell tour, as he prepares to retire from in-ring action by the end of the year.

Crown Jewel will be streamed for fans in various countries, with Netflix providing access in select regions, including the UK, Canada, and Australia, among others. As excitement builds for this unique event in Perth, wrestling fans eagerly await the action set to unfold.
