Yosemite to Open Campground Reservations for Summer 2025

Yosemite, CA — Yosemite National Park will release campground reservations for several popular sites for summer 2025 at the end of March. The reservations for Upper Pines, Lower Pines, North Pines, Wawona, and Hodgdon Meadow will be available from June 15 to July 14.

Park officials announced that reservations for Wawona, Hodgdon Meadow, and sites 1-124 in Upper Pines will be open beginning at 7 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on Recreation.gov. This allocation is expected to impact reservations for one month but retains current reservations.

The potential for releasing additional campground sites is under consideration, depending on operational capacity. If additional openings occur, at least seven days’ advance notice will be provided through the park’s website and social media channels. Existing reservations remain unaffected, according to park officials.

In light of the increasing interest in accessing the campgrounds, officials advise visitors to check the website regularly for updates and availability as the end of March approaches.
