ATLANTA, Georgia — Rapper Young Thug premiered a new song snippet on his Instagram Live, vowing to his girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist, that he will not cheat again. The livestream took place while the pair relaxed in a bathtub, which was notably empty.

In the clip, Young Thug raps, “I told her I won’t cheat again/Took her up the [inaudible] Benz/I’m on a million-dollar streak again.” His commitment follows recent scrutiny over leaked jailhouse phone calls that suggested infidelity, revealing he spoke to multiple women while incarcerated.

Mariah, who has been supportive during Young Thug’s legal troubles, quietly checked in during the livestream and asked if he was still streaming. Last winter, Young Thug faced backlash after admitting to calling at least 10 other women during his time in jail.

She stated on Instagram, “That video was before I met my bd… I would never talk to thug or any other man.” Young Thug responded, downplaying her comments and emphasizing his loyalty to Mariah.
