South Florida Weather Flooding Rain

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – South Florida is facing a weather alert as conditions remain favorable for flooding through 8 a.m. Wednesday. Widespread steady rain is likely during the morning commute in Broward and Miami-Dade counties.

Local resident Sarah Paguada, from Miami, expressed concerns about the situation. “When it is raining really hard, and it is like pouring, we have to be stuck in the rain waiting for the bus,” she said.

The weather is expected to improve as a plume of Saharan Dust filters in from the south, gradually diminishing the rainfall. On Wednesday, temperatures are forecasted to reach the mid-80s, but the 90s are anticipated to return by Friday.

Residents are advised to stay updated with local news for the latest weather forecasts.
