Ben Stiller Christine Taylor Reconciliation 2025 Emmys

LOS ANGELES, CA — Ben Stiller, whose series “Severance” scored 27 nominations at the 2025 Emmy Awards, recently opened up about his reconciliation with actress Christine Taylor. The couple, who have shared a life together since marrying in 2000, separated in 2017 but found their way back to each other during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In an interview, Stiller explained how the time apart provided clarity about their relationship. He noted, “When we separated, it was just having space to see what our relationship was, what my life felt like when we weren’t in that relationship, how much I loved our family unit.” This period lasted three to four years, but they remained connected throughout.

Stiller, 59, who has two children with Taylor—daughter Ella Olivia, 23, and son Quinlin Dempsey, 20—always hoped for a reunion. He said, “In my mind, I never didn’t want us to be together.” The couple’s reunion was aided by living in the same house during lockdown, which Stiller described as a turning point. “It was almost a year of living in the same house before we were actually together. But I’m so grateful for it,” he shared.

Christine Taylor, 54, also reflected on their rapid marriage after meeting in 1999 while filming the TV pilot “Heat Vision and Jack.” She explained, “We got married very quickly after meeting each other
