NEW YORK, NY — Gisele Bündchen, the renowned model and Tom Brady‘s ex-wife, recently opened up about a traumatic experience during a 1998 Alexander McQueen fashion show.

Bündchen described her discomfort while wearing a revealing outfit, stating, “That was one of the most traumatic moments… I had no rehearsal, so when I showed up for the show, I was like, ‘So, what am I going to wear?'” The language barrier added to her stress as she struggled to understand the show’s requirements.

The outfit’s transparency shocked her, as she later learned it was meant to be worn alone, without any additional coverage. “I said, ‘Is that a T-shirt or something?’ No, that was it. That’s how I started to cry,” she recalled.

The incident left her worried about her parents seeing the photos, but she ultimately viewed it as a learning experience. “All I wanted to do was walk away, but it’s one of those things that makes you stronger,” she stated.

Bündchen’s modeling career has thrived despite early challenges. She had been a top model in the industry and a mainstay in multiple high-profile campaigns before stepping back during her marriage. After her divorce from Brady in 2022, Bündchen returned to modeling and continues to build her brand.

Now a mother of three, she welcomed a son with her new partner, Joaquim Valente. Tom Brady remains single following their divorce, focusing on his career in the NFL.
