ARLINGTON, Texas — The Texas high school football season continued with several exciting games during Week 4. From September 11 to September 13, teams across the state showcased their talents, with notable scores and performances highlighting the week.
The marquee matchup featured the North Crowley Panthers against the Rockwall Yellowjackets. North Crowley, ranked No. 1 in the state, dominated with a 70-17 victory, utilizing an impressive offensive performance to secure their place at the top of the rankings.
In another exciting match, the Lewisville Farmers managed to secure a close 28-21 win against the Rockwall Yellowjackets. Tre Williams threw for three touchdowns, demonstrating his versatility and skill. Lewisville’s victory places them solidly among the elite teams in 6A football.
The Argyle Eagles also claimed victory, managing to fend off the Mansfield Timberview Wolves with a score of 35-27. Nathaniel Bruce led the charge with multiple touchdowns, contributing to the Eagles’ improved season record.
Marcus took down Richardson Pearce decisively, finishing the game with a score of 52-14. The Marauders showcased a dominant second quarter where they scored three touchdowns to take control of the game.
Notably, Flower Mound gave a valiant effort against Lake Highlands, though they ultimately fell 52-38. Quarterback Baron Sampson threw for 351 yards and two touchdowns, making the game competitive despite the scoreline.
Among the smaller schools, the Liberty Christian Warriors celebrated their first win of the season against Decatur, winning 35-24. Quinn Murphy threw multiple touchdown passes to lead his team to victory.
